White chocolate chip molasses cookies

I love Sallys Baking Addiction and her seasonal cookie palooza.  Every day she posts new cookies and I come home ready to start baking! I would love to try them all.

Since I can’t do that, I choose my favorites and try to at least make a few each holiday season.  She had these cookies on her blog a few years ago and I tried them for a cookie exchange.  I absolutely fell in love with these and so did everyone who  tried them.

I am attaching her link to the recipe for you to try yourself.  I also have it listed under cookies on this blog.   I think you will enjoy these as much as I do.  And by the way…my house smells amazing today!

Life is Sweet

Each of my daughters have something that is their signature sweet, something they can make at the drop of a hat and it always turns out delicious. My middle daughter’s signature sweet happens to be these lovely Cake Balls.

I think you will see they are well worth your time and energy. ENJOY!

Chocolate Covered Peanut Clusters

I LOVE Chocolate Covered Peanuts.  I make these tasty snacks at Christmas every year.  I was thrilled when I saw these made with Spring colored M&Ms.  I found this recipe at The Slow Roasted Italian website.   She actually makes these in the crockpot. So easy.     Here is a link to the recipe.   http://www.theslowroasteditalian.com/2016/03/White-Chocolate-crockpot-candy.html

I find this candy has the perfect touch of saltiness and sweetness and it looks fun to eat!

One of the best things about this recipe it that is has three simple ingredients; white chocolate, dry roasted peanuts and M&Ms.  The white chocolate starts to have swirls of darker chocolate as the M&Ms start to melt.  How good does this look? IMG_2924[1]

Just drop by spoonfuls on wax or parchment paper.  Reserve a few M&Ms and add to the top.  Add sprinkles if you want for an extra splash of color .  IMG_2923[1]

It only takes a few minutes for these to cool.  Then you are ready to dig in for a delicious treat!  IMG_2926[1]

What starts with the letter C?

Cookie starts with the letter C
Let’s think of other things that start with the letter C
Oh who cares about other things…C is for cookie, that’s good enough for me!

I wanted to make something sweet for my girls at work on Friday.  Everyone loves chocolate chip cookies, so that was easy and I always have all the ingredients for these cookies in my kitchen. IMG_2503[1]

When I find I also have the Ghirardelli white chocolate  chips and dark molasses, it only makes sense to make these wonderful cookies as well!  They were such a big hit last time I made them.

I discovered these from Sally’s Baking Blog.  I love her blog and her cookbooks!  I use my cookbooks all the time and they always seem to find a way into the background of my pictures of cookies and cupcakes!
