1 cup of sugar
1/2 cup of white Karo Syrup
Mix together and microwave on high for 4 minutes
Add 1 cup halved/crushed pecans and microwave for 5-7 minutes
Add:
1 tsp vanilla
1 tsp butter
Microwave for 1 minute
Add:
1 tsp baking soda
It will start to foam. You must quickly pour onto a greased cookie sheet
and spread out evenly where pecans are in single layer
Let cool for 30 minutes and then break apart
***Microwaves vary, so you must adjust the time according to the strength of your microwave. I cut my first time down to 3 minutes instead of 4 minutes and the next time down to 4 minutes instead of 5-7 minutes, but my microwave cooks very high****
