‘IMG_1195[1]I’m Kristy, a wife, and mom of three beautiful daughters, who, unfortunately never learned to cook (from me, anyway)! As someone who didn’t cook growing up, I want to now give my girls that opportunity!

This blog is to hold me accountable to teach myself and my girls cooking basics and two recipes per month in 2015! Inspiration may come from
~places we have been
~recommendations from friends and family,
~or from other sources like Pinterest or good old-fashioned cookbooks.

I will share recipes and our critique of them, what we are learning in the kitchen and our adventures in travel, which always tend to inspire a new recipe to try!

  8. I’m really proud of you for understanding why learning how to cook is so important! Especially for your daughters, but also for you – it helps if you like to eat! And it’s so much healthier than eating out – and less expensive. Good for you – it’s obviously never too late to learn! (and it’s not hard!!!)
